unoriginal blog post title 9

butter chicken and mutter paneer
from: curry point (ubc village!!)
price: $8 with pop
rating: &&&&/&&&&&
comments: lunch at the village, actually at the village!!! it's been a few years, I tell ya. click my lunch to see the full on reunion (minus me). joel, cragg, greg and craig. crazy. the village hasn't changed much, but also has. some stores closed, some popularity has shifted. curry point is still good, though.

and craig had:

chinese
comments: it seems that the "northern foods" chinese food place is now the most popular of all. you used to stand in the curry point lineup to see all their dishes. now, you have to fight past the crowds there to get to curry point. click craig's lunch to see him endlessly high fiving greg.

and jason had:

curry
comments: click jason's lunch to see a simple wiggly of him and greg. what's funny, is that I skipped a frame when I made that one. wanna see it with the missing frame? it changes the whole thing. here's 3 frames

and joel had:

combo 2
comments: the girl from osaka sushi still works there. that was refreshing to see. the one with the super long hair, remember her? click joel's lunch to see a whiteboard drawing I did, over 5 years ago? Lance keeps it preserved to remember me.... I assume. how can you tell I did it, huh?

price: 6.25
rating: &&&&/&&&&&
listening to: iggy pop
comments: we went to pad thai. no one ate pad thai. it was good. click to see the fancy grocery store at olympic village. I'm not sure if it's going to be Whole Food, or Meindharts, or Capers or Too Expensive for Most People to Shop Here. but it will be one of those, I think.

and travis had:

curry
comments: travis's linked photo is particularly for those two particular nerds that pointed out how impressed they were with his shirt from yesterday. you know who you are.

and dana had:

a holy dynamite roll
comments: after work, we all went out for drinks to say goodbye to long-time navarik legend, party-Marty. good times. drinking usually is good times. even tommy was spotted enjoying himself.

and I did not eat

barnacles.
comments: nor did erin, but if you clicky click, you see her smile not smile, smile not smile, smile not smile, repeet.

the fish lunch special
from: Chutney Villa (main and broadway)
price: $10+
rating: &&&&.7/&&&&&
listening to: steppenwolf
comments: very good lunch today. awesome south indian food. I'll go back there someday for sure. not the cheapest food, but you get what you pay for there. mmmm... and in the linked photo you'll see Otis, one of the office dogs all dressed up for halloween. he wasn't too thrilled about wearing this costume, though. dunno why. he gets to be a dino¿?dragon, whereas when I was his age (in dogs years?) I had to dress like Holly Hobby.

and sumant had:

a dosa
comments: this dosa was huge. and now I know what dosa's are. click to see mailicious phil reenacting a malicious taco attack on dave's computer. for the record, dave, I still believe phil when he says he's not the culprit. this photo was just a crime stoppers style reenactment.

comments: damn camera. the "broken" camera finally started acting really broken. I took pics at lunch, then I took a few more on the way home and boom, all the lunch pics gone. so you're not looking at my lunch, you're looking at an old one that was exactly the same. anyway, I met Nicky from atimi and we ate curries. yum. the linked pic is one of the ones I took in my laneway on the way home. fun clouds. if that's just not enough to click on, you should check out this page that I found through erwin's blog. it let syou see all? the pics that are being uploaded to blogger. cool stuff, it lets you find blogs like this one via the unique photos that are uploaded. ok bye.

price: over $7
rating: &&&.5/&&&&&
listening to: rush
comments: I forgot to take food pics today. weird. then craig was like, you forgot to take food pics and I was like no. but I had only thought I had taken them when really I had only remembered to bring my camera. anyway, these are old recycled pics of the foods we ate. click this curry to see a pic of a nice skylark cruising gastown. the funny part about this car is that I once asked that guy how much he was selling it for. and he said 33,000. and I said you mean 3300?? and he said no 33,000. funny. old dude is dreamin.

and craig had:

and Cringer became the mighty Battlecat!

butter chicken and pallack paneer?
from: curry express
rating: &&&&/&&&&&
listening to: Prince Adam gettin' jiggy
comments: curry, yes. ok enough about food. I need to talk about Dodge now. and what giant jackasses of a company they are. perhaps you've heard me scream and rant about them making a 4-door Charger? yes. blasphemous. even though the charger was only awesome for 5 years out of the 20? years it was made. anyway. what bothers me can be seen in this linked pic. they have made a Super Bee Charger. bah! Super Bees were awesome in their day and they were based on the Coronet. and really, the new Charger? it ain't nuthin but a Coronet. They should have called it that. screw you, Dodge!

and ed had:

chinese food
comments: Ed said the Amazing Wok was not so amazing today. and click this pic to see some foolio's truck who thought he drove a Super Bee... well, ok, this isn't so bad as what Dodge has done. this is someone tweaking the Super Bee and/or Scat Pack logo to suit their truck. fair enough. still... it's a truck, man. not a Bee.
