butter chicken, take 400
butter chicken and yoghurt curry. with naan, and a samosa instead of pop
from: Curry Point
price: $5.87
rating: &&&&\&&&&&
listening to while eating: Black Mountain. this 'modern music' song is pretty cool.
comment: crazy pics today. this is what happens is you take pictures off your camera when the batteries are dead. no lie. cool stuff, huh? it's like an instant-rock poster making device. ok, I added the words. or did I?? curry was good today. too full for the samosa yet. maybe later.

Jenna's lunch:
combo expresso
3 items; eggplant, broccoli, celery chicken
from: Combo Express
price: $4.82

I wonder if there's a Ronald MacFalafel?

won't you take me to... shawarmatown!
large chicken shawarma pita and spinach pastry.
from: MacFalafel
price: $7.21
rating: &&&&\&&&&&
listening to while eating: 'Hippo Stomp' by Steppenwolf. and I'm so moved by it, that I just filtered to only listen to steppenwolf for the time being. man, they rock. That John Kay! Whooo!
comment: I had to go to Rufus guitars at 10th and Alma at lunch to buy some bass strings. Man, bass strings are not cheap. 2 sets of strings, and a patch cord, and boom! $80 poorer. so I crossed the street to the famous MacFalafel. Maybe not famous. but quite delicious. My only regret was that I should have got the small shawarma. ooh boy. very full.

Moondog Mike's lunch:
I have come to praise caesar salad, not to bury him
caesar salad
from: Bread Garden (in forestry building)
price: $5.40
rating: &&&&.5/&&&&&
comment: Mike likes the caesars. He found this one to be waaaay better than Amigo's. Amigo's didn't have croutons. Bread Garden does. Amigo's gives a pice of garlic bread that tastes like wax paper. Bread Garden gives a tasty bun. Stay tuned for more reviews of caesar salads from Mike T.

comment: "Tasty," says Jason. Jason is looking up the names, so we can accurately account who won the battle of his sandwich. Jason says the guy on the left (Baron Ashura) won. Since he has no weapon, he must have used magic. I imagine he's got like, +4 magic. The other guy actually has Baron's weapon. Crazy. The Baron must be sooo powerful!

hot and sour tofu soup.
Tofu in hot and Sour Soup
from: Hong Kong Chinese
price: $4.82
rating: &&&.5\&&&&&
listening to while eating: 'Nights in White Satin' by the Moody Blues
comment: not bad. good value. not extraordinary, though. the extraordinary thing was how some stranger approached Jason as he exited the Student Lucky Mart and told him that there were a buncha people hidden around the corner if he was looking for them. weird. we don't know who this guy was, but he obviously had super powers. and something to remember for the future... when hiding around a corner with a group of people... the general public will stare at you.

comment: oh man. this pork is so gooooood! i love the pork! and this stuff is cooked without much spices or anything, so the flavour is just pure, delicious, unadultered pork. yes. pork. I haven't had the salad roll, yet, but I'm sure it'll be good too. not as good as the pork, mind you.

Chicken
Box C (Chicken Teriyaki, Udon, California Roll)
from: Osaka Sushi
price: $7.44
rating: &&&&.4\&&&&&
listening to while eating: "Starboy and the Captain of Outerspace" by Brendon Small.. oh wait. that song was short. it's Ween now. "Happy Colored Marbles"
comment: man, this is such a good combo. $7.44 is a lot of money, but my below average sub cost 4 cents more yesterday. and this variety is phenomenal. mmmmmmm.

Craig's lunch:
McStrips of Chicken
Chicken Strips, Salad, Diet Soda. yeah. I said 'soda'. so what?
from: McDonald's
price: $6.75
rating: &&.5\&&&&& (chicken strips) &&&.5/&&&&& (salad)
comment: Craig says the chicken is not nearly as good as the Thunderbar's. but it is McDonalds. not exactly fine dining. I wonder what I would rate a Big Xtra, though. those things are good. He was rather impressed with the salad, though. Fresh and good dressings. Paul Newman's own. I wonder if there's 50 eggs in that dressing?

listening to while eating: Pink Floyd's "The Wall"... er, now it's Luther Wright and the Wrong's "The Wall"
comment: not a very good sub. as you can see in the photo, there's a lot of detail. too much detail to be good. it's also leaking all over the place. and these new subway toasters.... not bad. but not Quizno's. they can keep trying. I noticed that they're trying to be more like Quizno's in other ways... they had one sub on their menu that was $9.29!!! crazy. now I won't feel as ripped off at Quizno's when I buy one of those large subs for $9.99. way better.

Liam and Papa
crotch sniffin' daddy
so, Russ is getting some over-exposure in this blog. I know. however, it is well deserved for these reasons:
a)he's leaving here at the end of the week.
ii)he's the only person here who was sniffing his son's crotch.
3)he's Russ.

from: The Moon (at the PIT)
price: $5.50
rating: &&&\&&&&&
listening to while eating: Stop Making Sense by the Talking Heads, the dvd is playing on my right.
comment: the honey garlic pork is phenomenal. as always. erin says it's too soft, though. probably because it wasn't fresh. unfortunately, they served mine, and just as they added the szechuan beef, the chef added a fresh batch of pork. damn. bad timing. oh well, the pork still tastes amazing to me. afterall, wtihout the Moon, there would be no porkday. The szechwan beef was not very good (fresh) today, either. porkday is usually a little better than today.

listening to while eating: My definition of a Boombastic Jazz style, by the Dream Warriors
comment: good value. but I'm not sure I should have chosen the eggplant. it was alright, but I think it had been sitting a while. The porkball was as good as ever, though. even if I added some Hey Ritchie mods. ... this just in... I don't feel so good. I think it was the eggplant, or possibly the ritchie
