I must be crazy. You must be lazy!

3 item combo (rice being 1 item)
from: the flaming wok (@ pacific centre)
price: about $7
rating: &&5/&&&&&
listening to: massive attack
comments: below average lunch. of all the woks downtown, I have yet to find one that compares with yi kou xiang or hong kong chinese food at the village. I miss the village's dependable deliciousness and low prices. ascii sad face. now click the pic to see a random shot of the coolest building in my neighbourhood.

and edward had:

vietnamese food
comments: ed liked his food. he said it was worth the extra $.75 to have fried noodles instead of the plain ones. now lick this pic to see another random building shot. what I like about this one is that I 'shot from the hip'. well aimed, I say!

the great burrito comparison

mondo super pork burrito
from: taco del mar (granville edition)
price: $7.83
comments: today, the line at the taco del mar was too long for us. so 3 of use walked the 3 blocks to the Granville TDM. and what I learned overall? they're the same. although, we did get back to our office faster than the group that stayed in line at harbour centre. so, if the line up reaches the bank machine.. you're better off to walk to granville. or just eat elsewhere. now click the pic to see the video I made doing tutorials for some video programs I decided to learn.

and everyone had:

burritos
comments: click this pic to see how well the OS installer works on one of my work machines. argh!

a collection of glass chickens

pork burritto mondo
from: the new taco del mar at harbour centre
price: $7.82 or something
rating: &&&&.4/&&&&&
listening to: blind melon
comments: the new taco del mar has opened at harbour centre. and you should see what an efficient food-making place this is. the paying-part is not so efficient. but the food? whooosh! and the burritto I had was amazing. really good. but almost $8??? a bit pricey. every taco del mar I go to seems to be diffferent from the last. this one has a smaller menu than I'm used to, or maybe I'made all that up.

and kylee had:

quizno's.
comments: I'm sure she liked it. and it looks like kevin ate his hand for lunch. now if you click this pic, you will see the tupperware container my parents had out last night.

that dump truck hit me in the butt

some kinda congee
from: New Town Bakery/Restaurant
price: $5ish
rating: &&&.5/&&&&&
listening to: dirty friday
comments: aaah, New Town. so good. unfortunately, the congee I ordered didn't have much of the pork or other food items I thought I ordered. it seemed to be riddled with lotus seeds, though. I'm not the biggest fan of the lotus seeds. they're good in moderation, but I thought I listed 3 different things that would be in my congee. and all I could find was lotus seeds. next time I'll get steamed buns. since they rock. now click the pic to finally see the time lapse I've been working on. it's just like looking out the office window... for 36 hours straight.... and sped up.... with Dump Truck playing. that's what it's like.

and henderson white cake had:

pot stickers
comments: I'm not sure how keen white cake was on this meal. he didn't seem overly keen. click the pic to see the purty rainbow I saw on the way home. what I liked about this particular rainbow was that it went in front of the building.

and ed had:

veggie steamed buns, and a chinese donut rice roll
comments: ed seemed to like his meal. he's a big fan of the New Town

comments: damn fine burger. and beer is always good. click the pic to see a bald eagle perched atop science world. it really is a bald eagle. not the best photo, though.

and tall kevin had:

food
from: railwayclub
comments: I forgot to take photos until we were almost down eating. kevin throws up the horns in respect for his meal. and if you click the pic, you will see a book we saw in a window on the way to lunch. I find it hard to believe someone would write a book like that, but at the same time, I expect it.

no, serisously... don't cha?

butter chicken and pakora curry + tandoori chicken
from: curry... uh... express?
price: $8.20
rating: &&&.5/&&&&&
listening to:
comments: curry. sometimes you just gotta. and on my way home from work, I saw about 10 tour buses, and well over 15 big rigs all at GM place. I thought to myself, "who needs this much for a tour?" so, I looked it up. it was christina aguilera and the pussy cat dolls. if you click the pic, you'll see that christina was pretty pissed off that one of the pussycat dolls truly outshined her in almost the same outfit. iyiyiy! there was almost a cat fight as I walked on by.

and edward had:

crepe covered in ketchup
comments: you'd never catch me smothering a crepe with ketchup. but ed did. maybe it makes up for the lack of cheese. now click the pic to catch a rare glimpse of my breakfast, which I threw together in the kitchen at work. yum.

ginger beef andn pepper stteak on noodles
from: the sizzling wok (canada place food court)
price: $6.99
rating: &&.5/&&&&&
listening to: david bowie
comments: today's meal was dissappointing. the sizzling wok is no Amazing Wok, and the Amazing Wok is no Yi Kou Xiang. oh well. where I ate lunch made it worth it. sitting with the tourists out around Canada Place. click my lunch to see the office form across the water. you can tell which building it is because I used iPhotos red-eye-reduction tool on it. and if you wanna geek out, click here to see what was going on under my desk today.

and ed had:

veggie combo
from: sizzling wok
comments: ed was tricked into getting an egg roll. they made it sound like part of the meal until pay-time came. plus he thought the food was sub-par, like I did. very greazy. click to see harbour patrol chasing us.

let it drop, let it all drop

4 tacos
from: Amigo's Cafe
price: $6.25
rating: &&.5/&&&&&
listening to: modest mouse
comments: today's adventure to the old marble arch building brought us to a mexican place. the food was good. very tasty. however, being a little pricey and 45 minutes to prepare food for 5 made this rating low. now click the pic to read an important notice about dangerous owls.

and kylee had:

a vegee torta
price: $5+
comments: kylee can rate the torta in her comments if she so desires (although I'm sure it didn't compare to the ones from ¿Dunkin Donuts? 33rd and Main. much more interestingly, click the pic to see who I got junk mail about a pre-approved-loan from.
