comments: today was quite an eventful wiggly day. it started with some wildly changing light while walking to work. then a crow tried to attack me, but I turned the tables and sent him up to a lightpost. then I got to work and richerd had returned from japan and gave me some japanese candies. then I had this interesting lunch. pulled pork and onions on a hot dog. it's called the 'sup dog. it was pretty good cuz it was new to me. but I doubt I'd order it again. maybe just for the name.

comments: so after work, we tried some very spicy chips that richerd brought home, too. click bill's lunch to see Uji demonstrating that you should never get the spices in your eye. and after that Uji realized that bacon soda is not the best drink to follow spicy chips. really, bacon soda is the worst drink to follow anything down. really. it. is. awful. oh and that's not all, there was also some foosball and a lady coffee machine at JJBean. like I said... eventful day.

comments: this item, 'the deacon', has always been staring at me from that deacon's menu. it's a burger with a smokie-like dog on it. it's a lot of meat. and it was quite tasty. but not mind blowing. just tasty. the candies they gave out at the cash register were adorable, though. click to see those.

comments: on the weekend, there was a parade at the end of my block. it was some filipino parade/festival that was heading to st george's church. so it went down quebec street. crazy. I poked my head out to take a couple shots. but man, it went on a long time. there musta been a helluvalot of people in it.

comments: today, the company bought us all lunch after our in-office-mini-golf tournament! good times. I managed to tie (with travis) for first place. we had more points than everyone else! yah! however, the people with the lowest scores seemed to get the prizes. I don't understand that. you don't see NBA players or bowlers getting trophies for _low_ scores. bah. whatever. click to see the hole at my desk area. the blue bins are water traps. the hole is beyond the table in the distance. dave did a great job designing this hole for us.

I was all like 'whoah... where's your bun mr. atkins??' and he was all like 'in the grill'. and I was all like 'oh'. click to see more golf course. there were 9 holes altogether. and it was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this activity for any office. every day, even.

comments: another bike ride today. around stanley park and back via coal harbour. the bike paths are starting to get ridiculous. more and more people on them. walking, blading, biking. it's pretty slow going in many parts. comments: we ventured downtown to the world? famous Japadog. I mean, if Mr. Ice Cube has been there, it must be world famous, right? perhaps it was when he was filming one of his badass ice cube movies 'are we there/done yet?' oh ice cube... you badass. do you still think 'when's he's called off, he gets a sawed off" ?? that sure woulda made those movie more entertaining. anyway. the dogs were tasty. the terimayo one was my fave.
