comments: today I went to lunch with john wu and tommy canyouhearme. i realized that there's a whole network of food courts under downtown. the bentall centre, royal centre, sinclair centre, pacific centre, harbour centre, etc. my question about all this? which one is actually the centre? oh well, food was good. but in other news, dirty friday played the picadilly pub. it was rockin and stuff.

comments: today I met erwin for lunch. we went to a pub that was very close to his EA worky place. the burger I had was tasty, indeed, however, the service was poor, the prices were high, the bun was way too small for what they put in the burger, and the stella only came in small glasses. otherwise I had a good time hangin' with erwin and talking about how much we both love working. click the pic to see the old guy I saw sweeping on main street this morn.

comments: does this curry compare to curry point? yes. although, it costs a dollar more. and the butter chicken is not as creamy. but the spiciness of it makes it really good. the pakoras are better, and the naan was too. overall, yum. and in the linked pic is the view from the kitchen of my office.

comments: more film fest films today. we saw a really cool korean monster movie called "the host". well worth checking out. we also so another good one called No Mercy for the Rude. It was really good, too. and my favourite thing about the film fest is how people who made the movie are often at the screenings and talking about it. it's kinda like DVD extras. and this movie was no exception, click to see the writer/director and his translator talking about the film.
