comments: ok this last wiggly is actually a bit magical.  when I was on the roof taking pics of the gang getting ready to leave, Sandy was the only one to notice me and wave. what no one noticed at the time was the bird that nearly flew into her waving hand! no ordinary bird, either. it looks yellow or green like a canary or budgie or something.  crazy!  we think maybe it was the twitter bird.
