comments: today's lunch was brought to me by Navarik. yum. we had a team lunch for a smaller team that I work on. it was great. beer. sushi. sashimi. holy rolls. all for free. thanks to shiho for organizing! now click the pic to check out a site that killerX57 was telling me about. they got 101 versions of stairway to heaven. if you listen to the SCTV one, you will see who's idea this was in the first place.
this is just more of the food:
click this gyoza to see a macro shot of my sea monkeys. and if you wanna see them in action, just watch the video below. complete with relevant music:

you should go to my friend's restaurant. i helped to put this place together. you must use the hand dryer in the bathroom, it's the coolest.
try mackerel salad or chicken bang bang or gyoza (they make them fresh everyday...almost all jap res in van buy them frozens). unfortunately, they don't open for lunch...at least not now.

PS Ron, tell your friends that without the awning, those lights will take on a bit of water... which is usually not good. water, electricity... buzz buzz crack ow!
I"m guessing those lights aren't active, no?
