comments: no linked wigglies today. instead, my linked pics are to exhibit some strange RAW-camera images. I was going through the wedding photos, and found that erin's D70 does some strange things when highlights get blown out. click to see the crazy grill on the charger. weird, huh?
and I drank:

comments: click my drink to see a close up of that crazy corruption. what do you think that pattern is? something on the ccd?? weird. here's another instance of the strange occurence.

The camera doesn't process the RAWs, that's why they're called RAW. Your mac has different drivers for each different camera, which iPhoto uses to create a JPG. Looks like the D70 raw driver is screwey (maybe there's an update?). Chances are, if you use the Nikon (or other software that can process a D70's RAW) it will look different.
that's where you're wrong, smart guy!
I tried it in 2 different raw-processing apps (2 different OS's, actually). same results. BAM!
any other theories?
I theorize that the moon men have crawled into the camera. One of them got bored and was doodling on the photo of your grill.
Or maybe he wants to be discovered and is leaving you clues.
that seems a lot more logical than craig's explanation.
