ain't lunch the sweetest thing?

vietnamese subs
from: Bale
price: $8.23 pour trois
rating: &&&&&/&&&&&
listening to: U2
comments: Bale was closed for their holidays. it's open again. oh yes. and after taking a break, it's even more delicious. today was very foggy. so I went and took another 500+ photos. assembling the movie still, I should post it soon. in the meantime, click to see a photographer taking a pic of something in the fog...

and andy had:

foods.
comments: on the weekend, I drove all the way up to the cypress lookout to see the inversion from above. however, there were some dorks 'working' at the lookout parking lot and sending people away because the lot if full. aiyuh. so we stopped on the way back down and you can click to see the best shot I think I got there. although, this one was kind interesting, too.

and jack had:

his wife's home cookin
comments: click jack's lunch to see our local chrysler dealership being dismantled. you know, this whole mess with the american car companies is stupid. they should all be shut down, not bailed out. if you look at these stats comparing a 1995 ford taurus and one from 2008, you can see that in 13 years, they've managed to make their cars LESS economical!! that's insane! why would anyone want to buy american!??! they should take these factories, and put some innovative people in charge of them. not just throw money at them to keep jobs. it's stupid. oh, and other than the 2008/2009 Challenger, there hasn't been a cool american car since 1973. bust that!

... for Russ: stats from the '96 taurus. barely less efficient than a 2008.

Umm when L/100Km goes down, fuel efficiency goes up. It's the opposite of miles/gallon, see.

So over 13 years they've gotten a little bit better. Not so much that I'd buy, say, a Ford Focus.

oh yeah. oops. I mixed it up. there was one that was worse, really. I just grabbed the wrong one.

I'll attach the one from 1996. which is a much closer comparison.
